Event Description

Join us for the 13th Annual Badin Lake Polar Bear Plunge.  We will wash away the old and welcome the new year with a refreshing polar bear plunge into Badin Lake. It’s for fun, bragging rights, and tradition. Or something like that.  Meet in the Badin Public Access & Swimming Area on 740 in Badin, NC.

At 1:20 pm, you will run into the water at Badin Lake.  You can sit a spell in the water or run right out.

The event is free.  If you would like a long-sleeved Badin Lake Polar Bear Club, they are $15.00.
