Event Description
The AMERANT BANK 5K to benefit United Way Miami takes participants through the beautiful city of Coral Gables and the neighborhood surroundings. The race starts and ends at the City of Coral Gables Historic City Hall with a festive post-race party. A fun-filled day awaits runners, walkers, athletes, families and wellness enthusiasts.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE
6:00am to 7:15am - Race Day registration and packet-pickup
7:10am - Pre-race warm up
7:30am – 5K Run/Walk Starts
PACKET PICKUP
Race Day from at 6:00 am to 7:15 am at the Race Site; Athletes will receive race bib number and event t-shirt (while supplies last)
RACE DAY PARKING
Parking fees can be paid using the Paybyphone app.
Curbside or on-street parking fees are enforced 9am to midnight. Rates range from $1.00 per hour to $2.50 per hour.
Garage parking fees are enforced 24/7. The nearest garage is on Andalusia just east of Le Jeune. There is a 2nd garage on Andalusia about a block further east.

TIMING
Chip Timing will be provided by Southern Timing, LLC. All participants will receive chip timing with live results and an individual results page complete with your results, finisher certificate & a 20 second clip of you crossing the start and finish line. Results will be streamed live on race day to https://www.southerntimingfl.com/results.
HEAT WARNING
Temperature/humidity can be high in South Florida. Participants should drink plenty of fluids(non-alcoholic) for 48 hours prior to, during and upon finishing the race. Beware of heat-injury symptoms (Dizziness, no sweating, nausea, cramps, redness, incoherent speech and thoughts). Seek immediate assistance if symptoms occur. Wear loose, light colored clothing.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Race Management reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event due to events out of Management’s control such as a natural disaster or other emergencies. No refunds will be issued under these circumstances. Management may also alter the course and distances for the safety of the athletes.
