Come out and join us November 16th for the inaugural UCA Ghost-to-Gobble 5k, celebrating fall by uniquely combining Halloween and Thanksgiving themes! Can’t let go of Halloween? Wear your favorite costume! Can’t wait for Thanksgiving? Don your best turkey suit! Are you a Christmas-in-July kinda person? Wear an ugly sweater!
*All participants will receive an event T-shirt and finisher medal
*Award for top 3 overall males and top 3 overall females

WHERE IS YOUR MONEY GOING?
We understand how tight funds are today more than ever, which is why we are committed to being 100% transparent on what all of the proceeds are going towards.
- 10% of all proceeds will go towards Community Connections
- Event shirts, medals, and bibs will be covered by registration costs
- Remaining funds will be split evenly between UCA’s Exercise & Sport Science and Physical Therapy departments and will go towards:
o Degree-related national conferences
o Research
o Scholarships
o Resources to help continue free therapy for the community through the departments
o Graduation, convocation, orientation, and social events
COURSE
The course goes through UCA’s beautiful campus and was carefully designed to take participants by significant UCA landmarks (Farris Center, Estes Stadium, Student Center, Reynolds Performance Hall, President’s House, Harding Centennial Fountain, Old Main), and along the Stone Dam Creek with tons of cheering students along the route. The course will be equipped with two aid stations and have Conway FD and UCA Athletic Trainers in case of any emergencies.
- Allowed: wheelchairs and other assistive devices
- Not allowed: bikes, pets
PACKET PICKUP
Pre-race packet pick up Friday, November 15 from 11am - 5pm at the Community Care Clinic.
Race day packet pick up by participants (MUST HAVE ID) will be between 6:00-7:30 am at the Packet Pick Up table by the Start Line.
Race will be chip timed with the chip being attached to your bib. *Please wear the race bib front facing in the torso area.
RACE DAY ORDER OF EVENTS
*Race day registration will be available race day.
Packet Pick Up or Registration 6:00am - 7:30am
Please be at the Start Line by 7:45am
Pre-race announcements begin at 7:45am
National Anthem will be sung with UCA ROTC Color Guard presenting colors at 7:50am
5K Race will start at 8:00am
Award Ceremony begins at 9:00 am.
