Join us on November 24, 2024, for the return of the Harrods Creek Trail Bash, located in the beautiful Harrods Creek Park in Prospect, Kentucky. This year, the race is part of a series of events celebrating the city's 50th anniversary of incorporation.
The Harrods Creek Trail Bash is ideal for new trail runners looking to experience the trail running world for the first time and veterans of the sport looking to maintain off-season fitness alike. Choose from a 1-lap 5K or a 2-lap 10K option. Amenities include a race t-shirt, finisher/overall awards, professional chip timing, tree cookies, a beautiful course, and coffee and snacks to help warm up.
Proceeds benefit the upkeep and improvement of Harrods Creek Park. Register by November 1st to guarantee your race swag.
Course Description- The course loops through the park, with the first 25% across the grassy meadow-like terrain and the remaining loop through a single trail track. The Start/Finish line is located at the parking lot.
Awards- The top three male/female finishers in the 5K & 10K will receive awards.
Parking--ARRIVE EARLY & CARPOOL—We ask that you plan to arrive early to park. Parking for Harrods Creek Park is roadside through the neighborhood. You can then walk down the drive to the small parking lot, where we will have canopies and timing equipment set up for the race. We want to be respectful of the parks so we can have many more great events in the future. Carpooling is encouraged to make space for everyone planning to participate.
