Event Description

This 5k run/walk is to help raise funds for my mother, who was diagnosed with terminal Non-Hodgkins Follicular Lymphoma. Due to this, we have had to take several steps towards aggressive treatment plans. Along with the treatment plans, there are several other medical expenses that are occurring, as well as she has had to cut back on work, causing a decrease in income at the same time as an increase in expenses. My sister and I want to help our mother so that she can just focus on fighting. My mother's name is Laura and she grew up in West Deer. The project I have created for her is the Laura's Warriors: Her Fight is My Fight. We hope to be able to provide a really fun race day! Thank you for your consideration and participation.
