Event Description
The EPIC5 is a 5 island adventure at the 140.6 triathlon distance. This event is a fundraiser to benefit the Special Olympics Hawaii organization.
Our purpose for this event is to challenge ourselves physically while embracing the rich history and culture of the Hawaiian islands, and to enrich the guiding principle of kokua – to help & give back by way of fundraising.
We are looking for solid athletes with a passion for adventure and a desire to make the world a better place.
Event details and schedule
We will start on Kauai and finish on the Big Island of Hawaii. Our adventure will include travel between 5 Hawaiian islands.
Plan to arrive to Kauai by Saturday, May 16 2026 (airport code LIH)
Plan to fly home from on Kona Saturday after dinner, or on Sunday, May 24 2026 (airport code KOA).
Fundraising athletes are asked to each raise a minimum of $5000 USD.
Fundraising relay teams are asked to raise a minimum of $7500 USD per team.
Non-fundraising athletes are suggested to make a minimum $500 USD donation to Special Olympics Hawaii Inc.
