Event Description

Welcome to the PioneerCrossingsRelay (PCR) race. A 180-mile 12-person running relay race in beautiful Montana! The PCR follows the classic 12-person relay model where each runner takes on 3 legs over a 24-hour period. Regular teams of 12 people are split up in two vans. While van 1 with runners 1 through 6 are taking turns running their leg, van 2 with runners 7 through 12 gets a break while making their way to the exchange where they’ll take over from van 1. This cycle gets repeated till all 36 legs are completed. In this thrilling adventure teams runners will conquer the picturesque landscapes of this stunning state. From breathtaking mountains to big sky vistas and pristine forests, Montana offers the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable relay race experience.
