Event Description

An inline and quad speedskating event with indoor and outdoor races. Awards will be given for each event. Open races will be scored separately.

Indoor Location: SKATES: Roller Skating Entertainment Center - 401 E Broadway Ct Unit B, Sand Springs, OK 74063
Outdoor Location: Broken Arrow Events Park - 21101 E 101st St, Broken Arrow, OK 7401

Outdoor courses will open Sat, August 20 at 3:00 pm for practice.

Early check-in will be available Friday, August 19, from 4:30-6:30 pm at SKATES: Roller Skating Entertainment Center. Skaters participating in the event will be able to skate a practice session for free!

Event #1 - Indoor Inline Race

Event #3 - Outdoor Inline and Quad Long Track Race (1.25K)

Age divisions will be determined by your age as of 1/1/2021.

Inline Age Divisions
Primary: 7 and Under
Elementary: 8-11
Sophomore: 12-15
Senior: 16-29
Master: 30-39
Veteran: 40-49
Grand Veteran: 50 and Up

Quad Age Divisions 
Primary: 7 and Under 
Junior: 8-14
Senior: 15 and Up

The snack bar will be open at SKATES on Saturday, August 21, and will have a food truck at the outdoor event on Sunday, August 22. Please note that there is no water or shade at the Broken Arrow Events Park. Please bring plenty of water and we recommend a tent/cover to escape the heat.

Race Rules

• Helmets are required during all races.
• Be ready to skate at the designated race start time.
• Skaters must complete all races to be eligible to place.
• Skaters may challenge up an age division. Skaters under 14 may only challenge up to the Sophomore division.
• Division races may be combined at the Director’s discretion
• No physical assistance of other skaters is allowed (ex: pulling, pushing, whipping).
• Drafting is allowed between all participants in a race (including combined divisions).
• Slower skaters must yield to faster skaters by moving to the right when being lapped.
• Race Director(s) will have the final decision on any rules calls.
