Proceeds will benefit the Tommy Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund
Los Angeles Airport Police Officer Tommy Scott, former lifeguard and "kindest officer on the force," died heroically on April 29, 2005. Officer Scott, age 35, was the first Los Angeles Airport Police officer killed in the line of duty.
The fund has awarded more than 20 scholarships over the past 12 years.
The course will start and finish at the Westchester/LAX Fire Station No. 5, running along the perimeter of the airport (USATF certified course).
