NEW LOCATION THIS YEAR: RACE STARTS and ENDS at the POLSON MIDDLE SCHOOL
Join Polson Running in a celebration of Spring, Easter, and St. Patrick's Day all roled into one!!!!The March Meltdown takes place on March 18th at the Polson Middle School. Three races:5K, 10K and kids fun run. The first 70 racers to register will receive a free T-shirt. We love having walkers and runners for this event. If you plan to exclusively walk, let us know prior to the race.
Wear a costume to the race and get a head start of 30 seconds.
When: 5k and 10K 9:00 AM. Same day registration from 8-8:45 AM. Kids race at approximately 10:20.
Cost: $20 online and prior to race, $25 dollars same day registration.Under 18 years old is $10 online and $15 day of registration. Kids race is $2 and race day only registration.
Distance and Course: 5k is one loop, 10K is two loops. Kids race is about 1/2 mile. The races begin and ends at the Polson Middle School.The race starts at the Middle School, take a right going up hill on 2nd, turn R on 19th ave by the high school, then a left on 6th st west heading up a steep short climb, then a right on Greiner, crest the hill for a long down hill on the bike path to the baseball fields, follow the sidewalk heading east on 7th ave, then take a right on 2nd street going up hill to the Middle School for the FINISH . 10 K racers will make two consecutive loops.
This years race will benifit MIssion Valley Aquatic Center.
