Event Description
For 19 years, we have gathered together- runners, volunteers, survivors, families, community businesses- and this year, while it might look a little different, is no exception! To continue moving forward in a way that protects the health of our community, we are making this year’s event a VIRTUAL run/walk. Although we’ll miss gathering in person, we’re excited about the opportunity to connect, virtually, with friends, families and supporters from across McHenry County and throughout the country.
As a virtual participant you can choose the time and place to walk, run or be active (while social distancing) from October 9th thru October 18th. In the face of this unprecedented challenge, we’re confident that our Annual Care4 Breast Cancer Run/Walk will continue to be a source of inspiration while providing a beacon of hope to the uninsured men and women in our community by providing breast cancer screenings, education and preventative care.
YOU are Essential in the work we do! We operate without federal or state funds and rely on foundations, grants & community support. Family Health Partnership Clinic has been serving the uninsured men and women of McHenry County since 1996. The service the Clinic provides has never been more critical during this unprecedented time. Cancer doesn't quit because of Covid, and neither will we!
Now more than ever, we heed the call to support those in our communities that are in need.
