Event Description
Riley (a Corona, CA native), is a 16 year old girl who was born with a bicuspid aortic valve which has led to an aortic aneurysm currently. She is a very fun, intelligent young lady who recently underwent her first open heart surgery. Riley will be cheering you all on and giving you your Medal when you cross the Finish Line!
This race was put together by her friends and family to raise money for the John Ritter Foundation in hopes of continued research for treatment and awareness.
The 5k is 95% run on a paved bikepath and the 10k follows the same bikepath and has about 2 miles of trails. This is a family friendly, charity run with lots of runners, walkers, and run/walkers. There is no course cut off--everyone will finish! All participants receive a goody bag, t-shirt, finishers medal, and other surprises! There is a vendor expo before and after the event and we have lots of age groups!
Run or walk for a great cause and have a great time while doing it!
