Event Description

Come join us for the 12th Annual Social Circle Redskin 6K Run/Walk and Fun Run in Social Circle Georgia.  The course is run on paved streets from the high school through nearby neighborhoods and finishing back at the school.

Event details and schedule

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup: Begins at 7:30AM

Fun Run: Starts at 8:30AM - 4 Laps on the Track

6K: Starts at 9AM

Awards: Trophies will be given to Overall M/F, Masters M/F, and medals give to top three M/F in standard age groups after the 6K.  Fun Run participants will receive participation ribbons and medals.

Timing and Results: Finish line management provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.athlinks.com

Shirts and Goodies:  Short sleeve shirts will be guaranteed to all pre-registered participants through 3/4/20.  Those who register after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2020 Black Bag Race Series.

Directions: Social Circle High School is located at 154 Alcova Drive, Social Circle, GA 30025. From Atlanta, take I-20 East to the Social Circle/Monticello/Hwy 11 exit, turn left, go north into town, turn left at the only traffic light, go 1⁄2 mile, turn left on Alcova Drive just past the Social Circle Library. From Athens, take US 78 to Monroe, take GA Hwy 11 to Social Circle, turn right at the light in downtown Social Circle, go 1⁄2 mile, turn left on Alcova Road. The High School will be on your left, 3⁄4 mile after the left turn on Alcova Drive.

Other Info:  In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
