trueYou’re invited to lace up and join our 5K or 1.5 Mile Fun Run in Parsippany, NJ on Saturday, October 19, 2019! Not only will you get the opportunity to participate in a chip-timed race, you’re taking steps to bring clean, safe, drinking water to the people of Rwanda – a country striving to be the first in Africa with 100% access to clean water.
The Nitty Gritty Details
The Run For Rwanda is a 5K or 1.5 mile, chip-timed, run/walk that will take place on the wide open roads surrounding Liquid Church’s office in Parsippany, New Jersey on Saturday, October 19th. All ages and stages are invited to participate. Here are a few things you need to know:
- The 5K begins at 9:30am and the 1.5 Mile Fun Run begins at 10:30am
- Runners may sign up as individuals or create and join teams
- Baby strollers are allowed on the racecourse
- No pets, bikes, scooters, or rollerblades are allowed on the racecourse
- This is a rain or shine event
- Awards will be given to the top three 5K participants in each age group and gender
- Family and friends are welcome to join and serve as your cheering section
- Spectators will enjoy our expo and indoor funtivities for kids
