Event Description
The Knights of Columbus Council 10195 of Wilbraham is holding its 3rd Annual Knights of Columbus 5K Scholarship Race on Sunday, September 15th at 9:00 a.m. This community-based event began in 2005 as the Peach Festival Road Race and provides the sole funding for our Knights of Columbus College Scholarship program. To date, we have awarded approximately $46,000 in scholarships to local high school students planning to attend college through race participation and the generous donations of our sponsors.
When: Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. (Day-of Registration open 7:30 a.m to 8:45 a.m.)
Where: Soule Rd School, 300 Soule Rd, Wilbraham, MA 01095
Registration fee: Preregistration before September 15th <20yrs - $15 / 20+yrs - $20. Day of race registration <20yrs - $20 / 20+yrs - $25.
Race Shirt: Information to come.
About the Race: The course is flat and takes you through the neighborhoods around Soule Road School. Perfect for getting the whole family out for a walk or run. There will be one water aid station around the halfway point.
Awards: Awards to the first-place male and female finishers in each age category: <14yr, 14-49yr, 50yr+.
