Start your 4th of July off with a bang!
Join us for the 52nd running of the LAA 4th of July 5k Road Race. All proceeds from this year’s race will be used to fund scholarships awarded to Lynnfield High School athletes. Thank you for your support!
Run with us in Lynnfield or join us virtually from anywhere!
This is a family-friendly event attracting people of all ages.
The Lynnfield 5K course is a predominantly flat out and back route through quiet neighborhood streets. There is one short hill. It is a fun race for all. Wear your red, white and blue and join in the fun!!
All registrations received before June 30th are guaranteed a festive cotton t-shirt.
A raffle and award ceremony are held after the race.
Awards are presented to the male and female finishers in each of the following categories:
- Overall 1st place
- Top Finisher from Lynnfield High School
- Age 70+ 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
- Age 60-69 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
- Age 50-59 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
- Age 40-49 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
- Age 30-39 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
- Age 20-29, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
- Age 15-19, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
- Age 11-14, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
- Under 10, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
Out of town on July 4th? Run with us virtually! You will receive a reminder text to lace up on race morning and can even submit your finishing time!
Please note: So there is no confusion, registering for the LAA July 4th Virtual 5K Race does NOT enter you into the actual 2019 LAA July 4th 5K.
All Virtual 5K Race participants will receive an LAA July 4th 5K race t-shirt.
