Event Description

Float down the Chattahoochee River either solo, on a group float, or make a float that's not a boat! This event requires only a great fun attitude, the ability to relax and have fun, and (if you choose to make your float) a little creativity.  

Float the Hooch will take place shortly after Chase the Hooch our 2.4 mile open water swim.  This float will take approximately 2 hours.  Participants will receive an event specific towel as well as awards for the first place solo float, first place group float and first place Float that's not a boat.  

This event is open to all ages, however we do require that participants under 15 WEAR a life jacket/floatation device during the event period.  Don't forget to bring hydration and nutrition.

Event details and schedule

Parking is avaliable at the starting point.  We do recommend that participants arrange for transportation from the final desination (Bull Dog Bait and Tackle located 2 miles down river off of Victory Drive) as transportation will be very limited post race.
