Event Description

5k/10k run/walk, timed/chipped event by Epic Racing.  Finisher medals will be given to everyone and awards to the overall top three winners for both the 5k and the 10k male and female participants.  The course is a cross country course that will take place at Howell High School.  The race path is updated so that there isn't any crossing over and it will be easy to navigate and relatively flat.  All participants registered by September 15th are guaranteed a t-shirt.  Early packet pick-up will be September 27th from 5-7PM at Voyager Elementary School, 1450 Byron Rd., Howell, MI.  Restrooms and water available at start/finish lines and also on the course.  There will be 2 water stations throughout the course and post-race bottled water and refreshments.  Packets can also be picked up the day of the race.  This event is to celebrate and honor the lives of children that we have lost too soon. All proceeds will benefit Julianna’s Wishes, which was created in memory of Julianna Ward-Brown.  We are excited to be building a Celebration of Life Memorial Garden at the Howell Carnegie Library for our community to reflect, remember and celebrate our loved ones that have passed away while also offering educational opportunities for our youth.
