Event Description
Join us as we unite community members, families, friends, supporters, and healthcare professionals on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at the Capital City 5K for Organ, Tissue & Eye Donation.
The 5K, an USATF certified event, is managed by Next Level Sports and takes place on a beautiful summer evening in Madison. The run/walk begins at twilight (6:30 pm) on Capitol Square, winds along the bike path next to Lake Monona, and ends at Goodman Park with a private pool party.
This celebration of life has become a Madison tradition honoring champions of donation. More than 1,900 families in Wisconsin are hoping that their loved one will get a life-saving transplant. All proceeds go to support the programs and services of the NKFW.
