STARTING TIME: Gates open at 7AM. The first wave will begin promptly at 8AM. The first two waves are for HIGHLY COMPETITIVE RUNNERS and will not be offered to teams. Waves will then follow every 15 minutes including teams.

WHAT DO I GET FOR PARTICIPATING? Each participant will receive a Mach 1 T-Shirt and official Mach 1 Mud Wings Medal upon completion of the race, and a day you will never forget!
WHERE DO THE PROCEEDS GO? A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Corona Pilot’s Association at the Corona Municipal Airport. Funds will be used to make improvements to the airport property, facilities, and operations.
COURSE: You asked for the challenge, and you’ll get it! It changes every year! The Mach 1 Mud Run is an approximate 3.5 mile course beginning and ending on the battle grounds of Corona Airport. The course will take you along grass and dirt trails where you will encounter professionally built obstacles and several huge mud pits. It will take everything you have to run, jump, climb, swing, crawl, or otherwise navigate your way to victory! You will get wet and you will get muddy. Water stations will be available along the course for refreshment.
