Event Description
This race falls on the eve of Pierogi Fest, the third largest event in the State of Indiana.
Entry Fee: (includes T-shirt*, sample pierogis, and adult beverages)
Registration Fees: $30 if registered by July 19th
$35 if registering after July 19th

Race day packet pick up starts at 5:00 PM at Calumet College, 2400 New York Avenue, Whiting, IN.
Race Starts at 6:30PM
Awards for the 5K Run are presented to:
- Top three runners in the following age brackets: 0-8; 9-10; 11-12; 13-14; 15-18; 19-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80+
- Top Overall Male and Female
- Top three CCSJ Alums
- Athena (women 170 lbs+) and Clydesdale (men 210 lbs+)
Computerized Timing provided by T&H Timing, including mile marker clocks.
Participants will sample Pierogis at the post-race party will be held after awards in front of the Dennis Rittenmeyer Athletic Center at CCSJ. Post race party will also include adult beverages provided by Bulldog Brewery with live music. Parking will be available at CCSJ. Scenic course route will start at the college, journey on the bike path between Lost Marsh Golf Course and Rogers Lake towards Calumet Avenue. Runners will then cross the Calumet Avenue overpass, turn right, around the pavilion, and run alongside Wolf Lake. All participants will be entered into a free door prize raffle of Adidas giveaways, first 50 will receive an Adidas gift, age group winners will receive 16-ounce glass mugs, race t-shirts will be Adidas Climalite and other surprises. Post race pierogis will be provided by Center Lounge, Cavalier Inn, Dan's Pierogis, Big Frank's Sausage, and more to be named as well as other activities to be provided in the runner's village.
