Event Description

On September 15th come join us for our second annual 5K , 10K and 1 mile Family Fun Run/Walk. Each event starts and finishes at the beautiful Sellwood Riverfront Park in SE Portland. Strut Your Kidney to celebrate, honor and raise awareness for children with chronic kidney disease. All proceeds raised will go to Northwest Kidney Kids, the only organization supporting children with kidney disease and their families in the Northwest.

NW Kidney Kids is in a unique position because we are the only organization with a focus on serving youth (birth -18) with chronic kidney disease and their families in the Northwest. Kidney disease is a lifelong disease. There is no cure. Children, teens and their families need tools to manage this chronic condition. NW Kidney Kids mission is to offer hope and support to these children and their families. We provide prevention services, educational programs and group activities that empower Kidney Kids to take charge of their health, embrace their future, and achieve lifelong success.
