Event Description

Enjoy the rugged terrain and spectacular vistas this March on Catalina Island! This event will feature the exciting and historic marathon course used largely since the first year on the Catalina Island Conservancy’s lands. The Catalina Island Marathon is a cupless course and will start in Two Harbors and finish in Avalon. The 10k, 5K, and Kids Run will start and finish in Avalon.

Registration Fees:

Early Fee Through October 31, 2017

November 1st Through January 15th, 2018

$135 - Marathon 
$40 - 10K
$35 - 5K
$10 - Kid's Run

January 16th Through March 10th, 2018

$145 - Marathon
$45 - 10K
$40 - 5K
$10 - Kid's Run 

Start Times

-Marathon Walkers: 6:30 a.m. in Two Harbors 
-Marathon: 7:00 a.m. in Two Harbors
-Avalon 5K: 8:15 a.m. in Avalon
-Avalon 10K: 8:20 a.m. in Avalon
-Avalon Kids Run: 9:30 a.m. in Avalon

***There will be an 8 hour cut-off time for the Marathon.

Awards:

Marathon- Awards go to the top three male and female finishers in each age division, Clydesdale divisions, Athena divisions, and Islander Division. Awards will also be given to the overall top three male and female finishers. 

10K- Custom medals for the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group. Overall awards for the top three overall male and female finishers

5K- Custom medals for the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group. Overall awards for the top three overall male and female finishers

Marathon Runners will receive:

• Long Sleeve "Finisher" Shirt - only finishers earn their shirt
• Finisher Medal
• Finisher Year Bar - add to your collection or start your own tradition

10K & 5K Participants will receive:

• Short Sleeve Shirt 

Kids Run Participants will receive:

• Kids Finisher Medal
