Event Description
Join riders of all levels and experience the best of the Southern California beaches and surf towns as you ride routes of 25, 50 or 100 (2 loops of 50 mile route) miles.
Choice of a 25 mile round trip along the coast to Encinitas, a 50 mile round trip past Encinitas down to Del Mar, Sorrento Valley, then back to the coast, or ride the 50 mile course twice and make it into a 100 mile route. All start and finish at the Oceanside Pier. All of the course is on bike lanes with vehicles in the traffic lanes.
And there is also a choice of 7 or 15 miles for an enjoyable ride on the San Luis River bike trail.
The River Route is 7 miles or 15 miles out & back along the San Luis Rey Bike Trail. Almost all of this course is closed to vehicular traffic. Start and Finish are at the Oceanside Pier.
Everything starts and finishes on the beach at the spectacular venue of the Oceanside Pier.
What is included with Registration?
All courses are fully supported with start/finish support, aid station support and on the course support. All riders receive a medal, finisher gift, food tickets and access to the free Taste the Coast Festival with local food vendors, music, beer garden and sports expo, right at the beach at the Oceanside Pier.

What is Taste the Coast?
Taste the Coast is a festival at the Oceanside Pier that includes local cuisine, music, a beer garden and a sports expo. Free admission.
Cancellation policy: Entry fees are non-refundable and entries are non-transferable.
Online Registration: Online registration closes at 11:59pm on October 30, 2016. All coupons expire at the close of online registration. Online registration may close earlier if course limits are reached.
Event details and schedule
Packet pick-up for registered riders and late registration (if numbers are still available) is between noon and 7:00pm on Friday, November 4, 2016 or between 6:00am and 8:00am on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Oceanside Pier in Oceanside, CA
BTC premiums, well-stocked SAG stops every 15-20 miles, individual course bracelet, very well-marked courses, mobile SAGs with mechanical support, shuttle to Oceanside Pier for DNF, route slips (cue sheets), finishers' medal, lunch at Taste The Coast Finish Party.
