RACE DAY SUMMARY:
We will be offering many fun activities on this day of fun for the Midland Community including:
- Every participant signed up for the 5K & 1 Mile will receive a T-Shirt
- First 300 5K entries also receive a Finisher Medal
- First 200 5K entries receive a Gift Bag and Dog Bandana!
- Chip Timed 5K
- Complimentary breakfast provided by Texas Roadhouse (for paid participants & volunteers only)
- Free Bounce Houses & Inflatables
- Free Face Painting
- Vendor Booths (for approved/paid vendors only)
- Public Microchip Clinic from 10-1
- Trophies provided to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place men & women, as well as 1st place dog
- Contests
- Best Costume
- Best Trick
- Best Owner/Dog Costume
Event details and schedule
What: 4th Annual Hot Dog Run 5K (chip timed) & 1 Mile & Public Microchip Clinic (10-1)
When: Saturday June 16, 2018
Where: Midland College (start in parking lot of Allison Fine Arts Building)
Who: MHC welcomes children as well as leashed & vaccinated dogs to take part in the race festivities! There will be pet contests & prizes after the race. Please keep your leashed dogs at your side at all times, keep retractable leashes locked, & clean up after your pet.
Fri. (June 15) from 10 am - 6 pm at Midland Athletic Co.; then all you have to worry about the morning of the run is getting your FREE Texas Roadhouse breakfast!
6:00 AM - Vendor Booth & Race set up begins
7:00 AM - Registration Opens
8:00 AM - 1 Mile Starts
8:15 AM - 5K Starts
8:45 AM - Breakfast is served compliments of Texas Roadhouse (for paid participants & volunteers only)
9:15 AM - Contests begin
10:00 AM - 1:00 PM Public Microchip Clinic (open to dogs & cats) INFO ON CLINICS HERE
