Event Description
The Inaugural Wadsworth Elementary 5k Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Wadsworth Elementary School. Proceeds from the race will benefit Wadsworth Elementary Special Programs. The 5k course will begin on the bus loop in front of the cafeteria. The course will wind around the Wadsworth/Buddy Taylor campus, and will include a loop around the track behind the school before returning to Belle Terre Parkway for an out and back to Whiteview Parkway, finishing back at the cafeteria. This race is professionally chipped timed by Red Pointer Productions. All participants will receive a custom Wadsworth Panther Finisher Medal when they cross the finish line! Awards are presented to Overall Male & Female, Overall Male and Female Masters, and 3 deep in 17 age groups beginning with 8 & under up to 75 & over.
There will be a free Kid's Dash around the bus loop for children 6 and under following the 5k!
Can't make it to the race but you really want to participate? Sign up for the virtual 5k! You'll receive a bib with race logo, a finisher’s medal and a beautiful technical shirt!.
Packet Pick Up will be held on the bus loop in front of the Wadsworth Elementary School cafeteria on Friday, April 27 from 4:00 PM until 6 PM. Runners may also register at packet pickup, and on the morning of the race from 6:30 AM until 7:30 AM.Spend a morning with friends, family or co-workers; promote good health, friendship, camaraderie and the thrill of participating together, supporting our Wadsworth Elementary students.

Race Timing/ Scoring
The race will be professionally timed and scored by Red Pointer Productions. In order to get the best results possible you need to wear your bib number unaltered on the front of your shirt pinned at all four corners. Do not have any clothing covering your bib number.
