Event Description

The St. Mary’s Mommy & Me Run/Walk is an event for the whole family. It was created to strengthen the relationships of families and community through exercise. It is also a special way for the Brownsville community to celebrate Mother’s Day and recognize all that they do!

The proceeds raised from this event will benefit and support our school’s mission. Our faculty and staff remain dedicated to developing and inspiring strong Christian values and fostering academic excellence in each child by providing quality education in a safe, nurturing, and multicultural environment. Sponsors for this event have the ability to forever change the life of a child by helping fund the many wonderful programs in our school.

This family friendly event will include a 5k and 1 mile run/walk, followed by an awards ceremony and celebration.

The 5K run will be timed with the IPICO Chip timing system. Both the 5K & 1 Mile run are open to all runners, walkers and speed walkers. Stroller moms are also highly encouraged to participate!

5K Age Divisions are as follow: Male & Female (12 & under) (13-18) (19-35) (36+)                     

Trophies warded to top 3 finishers in each division (5k only).

Trophies awarded to top 3 overall finishers in 1 mile.

Participation Medals awarded to all finishers in both the 5k and 1 mile events

Packet Pick-up will be held in the St. Mary’s Gymnasium on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 4:30pm-8:30pm.

T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 300 participants to Register Online!

Participants may register the morning of event (unless sold out), but the fees will be as follows:

5k- $25.00   & 1 Mile - $20.00

FAQs

• Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes. Transfer info must be emailed by noon on Wednesday, May 9th.

• Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Only if you have not picket up your packet and race bib. You will need your ticket or identification to pick up bib on race day.

• Do I need my ticket for packet pick up?

Yes. This will expedite the packet pickup process. If you are picking up packets for a participant other than yourself, you will also be required to show the ticket.

• What is the refund policy?

Absolutely NO REFUNDS. Event will go on Rain or shine. Thank you!

• Where can I check my time for the 5K?

5k Race results will be available 4 hours after event online @ MITIEMPOCHIP.com
