Event Description
In April 2009, the U.S. Congress designated September 11th as a National Day of Service and Remembrance. Now, each April, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum 5K Run/Walk and Community Day seeks to honor and affirm that spirit.
The 6th annual 9/11 Memorial & Museum 5K Run/Walk and Community Day will take place on Sunday, April 22, 2018. The 5K Run/Walk will begin at 8:00 A.M. The route begins at the North Cove Marina at Brookfield Place and takes participants through scenic Battery Park City along the esplanade ending at the Memorial plaza. Afterwards stop by Community Day, which is free and open to the public. It features activities and entertainment for all.
Your support ensures that the Memorial & Museum will continue to provide New York City, and the lower Manhattan community, with a place to learn the history of 9/11 where it happened.
