Event Description

Join your fellow runners while we Carb up with some Phat Pasta and enjoy some rest and relaxation as we lead into the big weekend! After many successful events over the past few years, we'll be returning to the Gaslamp Marriott Hotel for a private pasta buffet dinner and social gathering.

The idea is for you to get your bib/entry from the RnR Expo Friday afternoon*, then walk over to the Marriott. We'll start with an informal happy hour atop the rooftop "Altitude Bar" for some carb-filled cocktails (Beer is recommended ;) Then we'll head down a few floors to our private banquet room.

• 3-5pm - Recommended to Visit RnR Expo (see more below)
• 6-7pm - Cocktails and Beer at Altitude Bar, top floor of Marriott Hotel
• 7-9p - Private Pasta Feast, Social Gathering, Groovy Tunes and a special “Presentation”

Invite Others
This is open to ANYONE and we highly recommend to bring your other half, friends, family, etc. Spread the word. (A few years back, one of our runners include her parents who just landed from Sweden for the race weekend).

Cost
While the actual cost to us has increased every year, we are doing all we can to keep it at a value to you. The cost is a flat rate of $30 per person. We are absorbing all Online & Credit Card Processing fees. You MUST purchase your ticket in advance via EventBrite. You can register AFTER the deadline, but the late fee ticket is $10 more.

Parking
A special $10 Hotel Valet Parking rate has been negotiated with the deal. Valet and tell them you're with the VAVi Dinner. There is a ton of public parking garages nearby as well in the $10-15 range. Free street parking is available, but good luck with that ;)

Refund Policy
Because we have to guarantee our food & beverage, refunds will be offered until 6pm Wednesday, 6/3/16 (48hrs prior to start of event) Tickets may still be available beyond this time, but there will be NO refunds beyond it.

More on the Expo
*While the RnR Expo goes all day Friday and Saturday, it's highly recommended to go on Friday. There will be over 75,000 people (Racers + guests, fans, family and it’s open to the public) attending the expo and Saturday's are always a madhouse so we recommend going down on Friday afternoon.
