Event Description

2 Trails Ranch is excited to team up with the Lecompton United Methodist Church for the 2nd Annual 5K Walk/Run to benefit the General Fund. We invite you to experience the rolling beauty of the native grass and smell the wildflowers as you run/walk through this beautiful family ranch. You will cross pond dams and experience occasional rocks going up hills. A running creek that services a hand dug well 22 feet deep that once filled covered wagons with water, pulled by teams in the 1930's will be on the path as well. Some beautiful photo ops in a June morning setting. Experience the environment the settlers did as they came through on the Oregon Trail. Our 6- generation ranch is filled with history as it sits between two historic trails, the Oregon Trail and Santa Fe Trail.  At the end of the race, enjoy a complimentary 2 Trails beef burger, chips and a bottle of water.
