Event Description

Lace up your running shoes and help the Mt. SAC Flying Team Takeoff!!! The Full Throttle 5K supports the Mt SAC Flying Team’s goal of attending and competing in the National Intercollegiate Flying Association (NIFA) SAFECON Regionals. The Flying Team is a group of student pilots, certificated pilots, and aspiring aviators who compete in various ground and flight related events against other aviation schools. Attending the NIFA SAFECON Competition allows members to advance their aeronautical skills, increase safety, network with others in the field, and overall open the door to their future careers as aviation professionals. All funds raised will go directly toward covering the costs of travel, accommodations, competition entry fees, and other essential expenses. This 5k Run/Walk is inclusive and suitable for all ages and fitness levels, from competitive runners to casual walkers. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a great way to stay active, this race is for you!
