Event Description

“Run Like a Girl” is a walk/run event to spread awareness and fight for justice for women and victims and survivors of sexual violence.
Date/Time: April 16th, 2025 at 6:00 PM                    Location: Siena College Campus
Distance: 1.5 miles. This number is from the statistic conducted by the National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) that 1 in 5 women in the United States experienced completed or attempted rape during their lifetime. Attendees can run/walk the route twice if they wish to go a longer distance.
Who: The event is open to all in the community, Siena College students, athletes, and faculty/staff.
Cost: Free  Donations to Unity House of Troy are appreciated. We will be collecting feminine hygiene products at the event.
