Event Description

Howdy!! We are hosting a 5k event to support an incredible initiative that will make a lasting impact in the Rio Grande Valley. Texas A&M Higher Education Center in McAllen will host National Public Health Week (April 12th), an event dedicated to fostering community engagement, professional networking, and public health awareness. With a focus on addressing the unique health challenges in our region, this event will bring together students, professionals, and local organizations to strengthen the future of public health in South Texas. 100% of proceeds from the 5k will support local community clinics and student health organizations. Included with your ticket is access to a health fair that will provide blood pressure screenings, glucose testing, dental education, stress relief techniques, kids activities, and so much more!
