2025 Pennsylvania Sled Dog Club Spring Meeting
The annual spring meeting will take place in historic Gettysburg, PA! Plan to join us for a fun-filled, family-friendly weekend with fellow mushers to celebrate the end of the 2024-2025 season, discuss club business, vote in the PSDC elections, hear from our guest speaker, Rob Downey, and experience some of what Gettysburg has to offer.

Location: The Inn at Cemetery Hill, 613 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg, PA

For those staying at the Inn at Cemetery Hill, you must CALL the front desk at 717-334-9281 and say you are with the Pennsylvania Sled Dog Club to get the group rate that is available until March 31, 2025.

Friday, May 2, 2025
- 3:00 p.m. or later - Check-in for those staying at the Inn at Cemetery Hill
- TBD - PSDC Board Meeting
- 7:45 p.m. - Ghostly Images of Gettysburg
- The Spirit of Jennie Wade tour includes touring the historic home and surrounding area. This is a 90 minute tour.
Saturday, May 3, 2025
- 9:00 a.m. - Greetings & Silent Auction opens
- 9:30 -11:00 a.m. - PSDC General Membership Meeting and Elections
- 9:45 a.m. - Children of Gettysburg Museum 1863While the club business meeting is going on, a couple predetermined chaperones will take registered youth (1st-6th grade) down the street to experience life from a youth perspective in Gettysburg 1863.
- 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. - Lunch on your own
- 12:30-2:15 p.m. - Guest Speaker: Rob Downey
- Rob Downey will talk about his adventures, his new book, Until The Last Dog, and nutritional information. He will be doing a book sale and signing at the Awards Banquet in the evening.
- 2:30-5:30 p.m. - Battlefield Bus Tour
- Meet at the location Double Decker Open Air Guided Tour. The tour is approximately 2 hours with top deck seating and one scenic stop that includes restrooms.
- No Rain Refund: Ponchos are provided for light rain. If heavy rain or severe weather is predicted, the tour will run on an enclosed bus.
- 6:00-9:00 p.m. - PSDC Awards Banquet
- Location: The historic Dobbin House Tavern, 89 Steinwehr Avenue, Gettysburg, PA 17325
- You must be registered for the meal which includes:
- Salad & Bread Bar - 25 item salad bar, fresh baked bread
- Entrees - Chicken Coq Au Vin, Baked Ham with Pineapple Raisin Sauce, Penne Pasta & Tomato Sauce
- Vegetables - Rice Pilaf, Oven Roasted Potatoes, Buttered Dilled Carrots, Green Bean Almondine
- Desserts - Fudge Brownies, Blueberry Trifle, Gingerbread with Lemon Sauce, Colonial Pudding Cake
