Join the Greenville Tri Club for our 2025 Season Kick Off!
Who?
- FREE for 2025 GVL Tri Club members AND a plus one if you'd like. This could be a date or a friend who's interested in triathlon and wants to see what the GVL Tri Club is all about. There's nothing wrong with flying solo and meeting more tri club friends! Discount will automatically apply at checkout for members reserving their free meals!
- Additional plates are $6/person (+processing fee), so feel free to bring your whole human family! (Sorry, Rover, not this time)
- Those without a membership are also welcome to come for $6/plate also! (But for $25, you can be a member and get discounts on club events and races all year! Join here: https://www.gvltri.org/ )
- RSVP by registering by Thurs 3/27 so we can prepare food for all!
What?
- FREE FOOD! (see above) We know you athletes are hungry! Omnivores and herbivores will be accommodated for!
- We'll provide water and the like, but you may B.Y.O.B. if you're over 21 and choose to partake in an adult beverage
- Yard games, weather permitting
- Meet the Coaches: Several local coaches will be there to share about their teams and the coaching services they offer
- GIVEAWAYS, including GVL Tri Water Bottles for all attendees and drawings for free entries into the Lakeside Double Sprint, Clemson Triathlon, Andy's Race, and Dam Tri!!!
- Meet the Sponsors: Benchmark Bicycle, Zone PT, and other vendors that provide our clubs discounts will be there as well
- Hanging out in real clothes (though if wet lycra is your preferred attire, we'll allow it) and meeting new friends to train and race with
- South Carolina Triathlon Series season preview with race director, Jeremey Davis. Learn about our local events and plan your race calendar with your friends!
- Meet the Board: GVL Tri Club board members will share the current and future vision for the club, introduce themselves, and be available for your feedback and questions
Where?
- River Walk Clubhouse (103 River Walk Blvd, Simpsonville)
- This is an indoor venue (so service animals only), but, weather permitting, we'll use the outdoor space as well!
When?
- Sunday, March 30th 5-7:30pm.
- Late arrivals and early departures welcome, but you must be present AND a member to win giveaways!
Why?
- Celebrate the beginning of triathlon season, introduce yourself to the people you race with, meet various teams, and see what the GVL Tri Club is all about!
