Event Description
Include a 5K in your Memorial Day Weekend plans! Over the last 12 years we have donated over $30,000.00 to our local volunteer fire department. Our event has enabled the LVFD to purchase new equipment used for fighting fires throughout our county.
Our 5K course loops through the beautiful neighborhood of Leonard's Grant and is USAT&F certified and chip-timed. Our Fun Run course draws about 80 little runners each year to kick off the morning's festivities. 5K medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the following age categories: Overall, 13 & Under, 14-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61+
Register here for $40. Register by 5/15/25 to guarantee your shirt size; there will be no shirt exchanges. Although you can also register at Walk-in Registration the day before the race, you will not be guaranteed your preferred shirt size at that time.
THERE IS NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION but you will be able to pick up your packet on race day if you have already registered online.
The Kids' Fun Run will start at 8:00, with distances of 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile. Register your kid for the Fun Run for $5 at Walk-in Registration on Friday, May 23th at the LG Clubhouse. All 5K registrants include one free Fun Run Registration!

Event details and schedule
Friday, May 23th, 4:00-6:00: Walk-in registration for the 5K ($40) and for the Kids' Fun Run ($5) (cash, check, or visa/mastercard). Also, packet pick-up for the 5K. Held in the Leonard's Grant Clubhouse in the center of the subdivision.
THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION
Saturday, May 24th, 7:30-8:15: Packet Pick-up for 5K runners already registered.
THERE WILL BE NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION FOR THE 5K OR FOR THE KIDS' FUN RUN.
Saturday, May 24th, 8:00: National Anthem and Kids' Fun Run, immediately followed by the 5K.
THE 5K BEGINS IMMEDIATELY UPON COMPLETION OF THE KIDS' FUN RUN.
Saturday, May 24th, 9:30: Awards
