Event Description

For the first time, the Epsilon Zeta chapter of Alpha Chi Omega at Auburn University is hosting the 5k for DVA Race for the promotion of awareness, education and prevention of domestic violence. AXΩ is happy to share an event full of community spirit, integrity and fun that students of Auburn and members of the local community can participate in and look forward to. 100% of proceeds from the event will be donated to the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation and the Domestic Violence Intervention Center of Opelika. The AXΩ 5k for DVA will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 23rd, 2025. The race will begin promptly at 8:30. Runners will race through the beautiful campus of Auburn University. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place runners in the male and female categories. Race packets will be provided to all participants and include race bib and event T-shirt for each participant. Any materials that sponsors wish to provide, such as promotional material, coupons, etc. will be included in the race packets as well. Bib and T-shirt pick up will take place in the Alpha Chi Omega chapter room located in Oak Hall on Friday March 21st from 4-6pm. Please note that event t-shirts and race packets are not guaranteed after March 5th, but registration will remain open until March 18th. No registration will be available on race day.
