Join the Lauren’s Kids foundation and thousands of walkers across the state for the 2025 Walk in My Shoes 1,500-mile trek across Florida. April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month — every step counts in the fight to prevent child sexual abuse and help survivors heal.

Start location: Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center, 4357 Lafayette St., Marianna, FL 32446

Registration Begins: 9:00 AM

Walk Start: 10:00 AM

Details: 

Join us for a 4-mile walk loop beginning and ending at the Children’s Advocacy Center to advocate in our community! Participants can end there, or continue walking another 5 miles to the Florida Department of Transportation's offices (2956 State Correctional Rd., Marianna, FL 32448). Please note, those continuing on to the second walk of the day are responsible for their own transportation following the walk as ride-share options are limited.
