Event Description

The FSUSD Runs This 2024-25 Series is back with the 2nd awesome 1 Mile and 5K fun run/walk event at Nelda Mundy Elementary School in Fairfield! Presented by the Fairfield Suisun Unified School District, the event features a morning of running or walking at any speed, age, and ability. Get your groove on to build healthier lifestyles through physical activity, stonger families and fitter kids! 

Event details and schedule

This is the second of a 2 race series held on March 22 at Nelda Mundy Elementary and offers an untimed, on-campus run or walk 1 Mile distance and a timed, off-campus 5K (3.1 miles) that includes school grounds and city paths.

The 5K distance will be RFID chip timed and printed/on-line results will be available. Race bibs must be worn in front, in a visible location in order to be properly timed. 

All participants must be registered. Late registration is available on-site starting at 8:00am. 

Awards: custom bracelets for the first 400 5K finishers. 

Schedule:

 8am-9:30am - On-Site Event Registration and Bib Pick-Up

9:00am - 1 Mile Run/Walk Start

9:30am - 5K Run/Walk Start

Rain or shine. Parking is available but it is limited. Please arrive early and carpool if possible.
