TRAVIS KIDS RACE SERIES 2025/6
The Travis County Running Youth Race Series, produced by Fit Foundation, is a USATF-sanctioned event series designed to inspire young athletes ages 2-12. Through age-appropriate distances and professionally organized events, we create positive experiences that build confidence and foster a love of running.
Our series features exciting events at Pace Bend Park, where every young runner receives recognition and the opportunity to earn special series completion awards. With USATF sanctioning, parents can trust in our commitment to safety, quality, and proper youth athletic development.
Events are open to youths of all abilities and include a 2K Fun Run/Walk category, designed to bring people together of all ages and abilities. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or somewhere in between, this category welcomes everyone to move at their own pace through the beautiful Pace Bend Park landscape. Families are encouraged to participate together - from toddlers in strollers to grandparents, everyone is invited to join the fun. There's no competitive timing and no pressure - the only goal is to enjoy movement, create memories, and connect with your community. Stroll, jog, or run alongside loved ones, soak in the scenic Hill Country views, and celebrate the joy of being active together.

Ages: 2-8 (Kids K Run/Walk) | 8-12 only for the 5K
Age Groups & Distances:
- Ages 11-12: 1.5K
- Ages 9-10: 1K
- Ages 7-8: 0.75K
- Ages 5-6: 0.5K
- Age 4: 0.25K
- Ages 2-3: 100m
- ALL AGES: 2K Fun Run/Walk: Walk, jog, or run
Regular Series Timeline:
3:00 PM: Check-in opens
3:30 PM: First wave starts
Waves continue by age group
All events conclude by 4:30 PM
REGISTRATION OPTIONS
Single Race: $19
Series Pass (6 out of 8 events): $120
Same Day Registration: $30 per event
AWARDS
Completion ribbon at each event
Series medal for completing at least 2 events
Special awards for top three finishers in each age group completing all 6 regular events
Special relay awards at Holiday Victory Lap
