Event Description
Troop 58 is hosting a 5K. Come out and dash to help support youth development and leadership activities offered through the Scouting America Program. Proceeds support annual outdoor adventures for Troop 58. In addition our Troop is hosting a food drive on-site and 10% of race proceeds will go to Feed My Sheep. Please bring a few non-perishables with you for donation. There will be a drop-off point on-site. Racers will receive a goodie bag from sponsors, a decal for completion of the 5K and there will be awards in all age groups. Families can join us early for a family fun-run 1K to kick off the events (please no pets). There will be light concessions available for purchase.
Registration Fees:
5K
- $30 - Early Bird through 2/28
- $35 - 3/1 through race day
1K Family Fun Run
- $5 through race day (Free for ages 0-5)
Awards/Race Categories:
- Top 3 Overall Male and Female
- Top 3 Male and Female in each age groups: 15 & under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over

Course Description:
The course will begin at the Smithfield Recreation & Aquatics Center Pavillion, travel around the baseball field and onto the Buffalo Creek Greenway. This section of the greenway features the Barn Quilt Project Display so you will enjoy local art as you dash for the finish line. The course turns around at the halfway mark at Buffalo Road. This is a USATF certified course recognized by RRCA.
