Event Description

The Victory Lap is an annual 5k that the Push Up Foundation Houston puts on every first Saturday of March to spread awareness for Colon Cancer. Our founder, Keith Rollins, was diagnosed with this disease at the age of 49, not knowing the new age to get a colonoscopy is 50. It is his mission, as well as Push Up's, to raise awareness of this disease, how to prevent it and the early symptoms that come with it. March is Colon Cancer awareness month, with your registration, you receive a royal blue t-shirt that we ask you to wear to the 5k. We meet at Highline Park for El Rey breakfast tacos, coffee, packet pick up and warmup, followed by the 5k on the Heights Hike and Bike Trail with an after party to follow that back at Highline Park.
