Event Description
This is a 9-week training program beginning the week of March 3rd designed to prepare runners to reach their goals at the Frederick Half Marathon, or another spring half marathon of their choosing. (The race registration fee is not included.) The program includes:
- A selection of training plans to choose from based on your recent running history and goals.
- Instruction on the proven training principles that lead to success and enjoyment for runners.
- Coached workouts that add an appropriate level of variety to your training as you prepare for your race.
- Two locations to choose from for coached workouts, 6:30pm in Littlestown on Tuesday evenings and 6:30pm in Westminster on Wednesday evenings. Coached workouts are also offered every other Saturday morning at 7:30.
- Weekly guidance to help participants understand the benefits of the training they are being asked to complete.
- Unlimited contact with coach Dave Griffin by email or at workouts.
