Oh Boy 5K For US!
Run Connecticut the Easy Way — Because we have a reason

In honor of the Marathon Man, Attorney Eugene L. DeFronzo

Enjoy walking or running for your reason! For the Fallen Soldiers, First Respondents, For our Veterans & Active Soldiers, For Child Abuse Prevention, For Cancer Survivors and  the cure, For our Country, For depression  and sadness, For Domestic Violence, For the Grieving of a Loved One, For our Families, For Peace, For our neighborhoods, for Unity and Justice. For You and US!

Entry Fees:
Adults: $30 thru 4/30 $35 & 5/1 thru race day 
Students: $10 thru 4/30 & $15 5/1 thru race day

T-shirts:
Registered by April 24, 2025 to guarantee T-shirts size. After April 24, 2025, t-shirts size are not guaranteed.

Course Description:
5K Loop Start & Finish at Field St & Grand St — Mostly flat with some slight rolling hills.

Packet Pickup:
Sunday, May 25, 2025 at 61 Field Street, 1ˢᵗ Floor, Waterbury at 2-5pm.
Monday, May 26, 2025 at Start /Finish Area Grand Street between 6:00 AM-7:30 AM on Race Day.

Parking: Parking garage at 61 Field Street, Waterbury, CT

Aid Station: At Start/Finish.
Drinks: Water, sports drink, etc.
Snacks: Variety of chips, crackers, candies, trail mixes. Fruits: Bananas, Apples.

Bag Drop: There will be a drop bag location area adjacent to the Aid Station.

Toilets: On the course near the start/finish area and Hamilton Park Road (turnaround)

Finisher Awards: 1st, 2nd & 3rd trophy. Custom designed dog tag to all finishers

Pre-Race Announcements: 10 minutes before the start at the STARTING LINE.

Timing: We are using chip timing!!
The course is certified. TO BE PROVIDED
Results will be available on empiretiming.com.

Course Rules:
1. Course will be open to the public You should expect to see walkers, joggers, baby-strollers, etc. Yield to fast runners passing.

2. Parking Lot Crossings — The race does cross streets and there are few intersections. Signs will be posted to make people aware that a “Race is In  Progress”. Please use caution while crossing intersections entries.

3. Absolutely no littering

Crews, Family and Friends: Bring chair to sit and cheer on your runners.
