Event Description

Join the Cedar City Running Club for their 2nd Annual Thanksgiving morning Turkey Trot 5k at the Don Fox Park in Lebanon, TN, 7am. The route will consist of the main Don Fox Park loop and the Cedar City Greenway/Trail to the Train Station and back. This is a Fun Run! (*Meaning it is for fun, the course is not a certified 5k, and there will be no official timing). We plan to have beverages and breakfast for runners, sign up is not required, but will aid in an accurate headcount.

This year the group is supporting a local ministry -- ALL for HIM (https://allforhimministry.org) -- with a Coat Drive and Canned Food Drive. CCRC has a few gift baskets that will be raffled off to those who support the drive. See below for specific details.

Coat Drive:
Warm winter coats are a huge need for the unhoused community in the Nashville and Wilson County area as the weather cools. They are mostly in need of Mens size Large and X-Large, but will accept all men's and women's styles and sizing (no children's). Coats can be new or used.

Canned Food Drive: 4 specific requested items
- Canned tomatoes
- Tomato pasta sauce/marinara sauce
- Canned pinto beans
- Canned great white north beans

Monetary Donations: (100% of all money given is going straight to All for Him)
- Cash at Run Club
- Check at Run Club (make payable to "All for Him Ministry"
- "Donate" here on the RunSignUp platform

How to be eligible for the raffle:
- Every $5 donated = 1 entry
- Every 1 coat donated = 1 entry
- Every 3 canned food items from above list = 1 entry
Unlimited entries available based on your donation

Tuesday, November 26th at Run Club
Thursday, November 28th at the Turkey Trot 5k
Tuesday, December 3rd at Run Club
