Event Description

Join us for a fun and energizing 5K run/walk designed for all ages and fitness levels! Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or a walker, this event is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors, support a great cause, and connect with the community. The 5K is open to runners from 5th grade to well into adulthood. Our scenic course will take participants through the holiday festive neighborhoods of Ashburn, Georgia, offering a great experience for beginners and pros alike. Gather your friends, family, and coworkers, lace up your running shoes, throw on some tinsel, your holiday socks, and jingle bells, and get ready for an early morning run full of excitement, fitness, and community spirit. Proceeds from the event will go towards the Turner County Middle/High Cross-Country program, so every step makes a difference. We can’t wait to see you at the starting line!

The Jammy Jog will follow the 5K. It will be a 1-mile race for children and adults who would prefer the shorter run/walk. Parents who run in the 5K may run free with their children. Runners should come decked out in their Christmas jammies or other festive attire. 

After the event, join the citizens of Ashburn in attending the annual Christmas parade at 10:00 am. on Washington St, and check out some of the hometown shops and eateries downtown. 

The starting line is at the corner of College Ave and Gilmore street, diagonal from the address given.
