Event Description

This race will take you on a tour of the mountains of NC that were decimated by Hurricane Helene. Run through forests where almost all trees were knocked down. A view of the destruction like nothing you have ever seen. This race will be run on the one year anniversary of Hurricane Helene's entrance into North Carolina. Bakersville is a small community nestled within the beautiful borders of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  All profits from this race will go towards replacing the playgrounds in Mitchell County, one of the hardest hit counties in North Carolina.
