Miss River Raisin Scholarship Program’s 12th Annual Hot-Cha-Cha 5K Mug Run
Run through the charming Village of Blissfield this holiday season! This race includes a Wassail Fest mug which allows you to walk around downtown Blissfield tasting wine-based hot wassail samples for FREE. Vote for your favorite! For non-drinkers & those under 21, you will receive an insulated hot chocolate or coffee mug for your hot beverage. Only the first 75 adults registered are guaranteed an official 2024 Wassail Festival Mug. There will also be a prize for the best costume/outfit, so come dressed to impress!
$30 for Adults (21+) and $20 for Kids/Young Adults (6-20)
**You MUST show an ID to receive a wassail mug. NO EXCEPTIONS.**
AWARDS: Ceremony will follow the race. Medals for overall male & female AND top 2 finishers in each male & female age division: 6-12, 13-20, 21-35, 36-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
* Children 6-12 must run with an adult, as it is dark.
* Please bring lights and reflective gear.
* Most likely, there will be no indoor registration, seating or waiting. This is an outdoor event. The downtown block will be closed to traffic.

This fundraiser benefits the Miss River Raisin Scholarship Program, which provides thousands of dollars a year in college scholarships to young women in our community. THANK YOU for helping intelligent, talented and compassionate young women acheive a higher education!

12th Annual Hot-Cha-Cha 5K Mug Run Information
December 13, 2024
Registration: 5:30 p.m. outdoors in front of Township of Blissfield office in Downtown Blissfield. Look for the red tent top!
Start Time: 6:30 p.m.
Awards: Immediately after the last runner crosses the finish line, medals will be given for overall male, overall female, as well as the top finisher in each age category for male and female: 6-12, 13-20, 21-35, 36-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. There will also be a prize for best costume/outfit. After the race, please stay in the downtown area and listen for the announcement of the awards.
** The course is marked with large arrows on street poles, as well as volunteers at the corners of important turns. LOOK FOR THOSE ARROWS! A map and a pocket-sized list of turns will be provided at the event.
** Please wear reflective running wear and/or lights! Costumes are welcome!
** Children 6-12 must run with an adult, as it is dark.
