Event Description
The Spark the Conversation 5K is a great race day experience and supports a mission to promote mental health awareness among teens and young adults. The race takes place at the 5k course of one of the top high school cross country programs in the state, winding through the woods around the campus of Marist School, finishing on the lower fields by Nancy Creek.
Your support goes to Heads up for Harry, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping young adults affected by mental illness, and their loved ones, find the resources and support they need. The organization, started in 2018, works with local schools and other organizations to share a message with young adults about how to talk openly about mental health, mental illness, and how to support each other in our mental health journeys.
You will also have the opportunity to fundraise for Heads Up for Harry as a participant in the race, securing sponsors to support you as you race.
Free T shirt with registration. Must be registered by November 28th to be guaranteed a T-shirt.
