Event Description
Make the transition from winter to spring with a new event at Wilson Farm Park and pick a distance that gives you motivation to train over the winter or helps you get ready for spring races. The park loop is a fairly flat 1.25 miles and you have the option of a 1/2 Marathon, Full Marathon, 50K, or 4 Person Marathon Relay. The exact start and finish lines will be determined once we have the course officially measured and the marathon certified for Boston Qualification. Full details will be added as we finalize plans, but we'll have chip timing with live results, a long sleeve shirt, and finisher medals for all individual events. It will be a fun and festive atmosphere.
Packet pick up will be available race morning starting at 7:00am. We will possibly offer race packet pick up the day before. Stay tuned for more information/updates on this.
This event will be incredibly spectator friendly as runners will pass by the finish area after every 1.25 mile loop. This also makes it easy to use the indoor (heated) bathrooms and change clothes, get your own fluids/foods, etc.
There will be an 8 hour time limit for the event making it very walker friendly for the half and full marathon (but not the 50K).
